Admittedly, this probably isn’t the most inspiring or interesting piece I’ve ever sewn. But in every sewist’s journey, there comes a moment when you have to step away from the frosting, and sew up a few basics. This past winter, I realized that one of the items I kept wanting to pair with my handmade garments was a simple, black turtleneck. I mean, think of all of the things it would’ve paired so perfectly with this season… My Wiksten Haori? My Camden skirt (ESPECIALLY the Camden skirt)! It really was a very needed piece. So here I am, on the Minerva Crafts Blog today, talking about this perfect basic and how it fills a huge gap in my wardrobe! Click over to their site to read my full post!
