Time for another Recap post! This two month interval was filled with collaborations – and for this reason, I didn’t sew much from my stash. I was thrilled to be asked to participate in the Style Maker Fabrics Spring blog tour, as well as another collaboration with Pine Crest Fabrics, AND a new pattern promotion with Deer and Doe! All of this on top of my planned quarterly make with Stylish Fabrics meant I didn’t have a lot of time or wiggle room for additional projects, but it did give me the opportunity to really think out each of these collaborations and actually come up with a really great combination of makes! See all the things I came up with in March and April 🙂
When PineCrest Fabrics reached out to me about working with some of their new fabrics, I was so excited to say yes. Of course! I was lucky enough to work with their Olympus Knit fabrics when I was pregnant, and I was so impressed with the quality of their product. I thought that it would be exciting to mark 6 months with this new collaboration – a fun milestone to work around, especially since the last post I’d done with them was about how I worked out while pregnant. I figured that today, I’d be able to tell you guys what it is like working out (and wearing handmade workout wear) with a little one, and how I was able to get back into shape after having a baby. I’m very excited to share this one with you guys, especially because this pattern is on SALE today! Even though it was almost 90’F in Dallas yesterday, I’m starting to get so excited about autumn. I’ve been collecting sweater knits for weeks now, and daydreaming about all of the great sweaters I want to make for this season. Sweaters, leggings, and booties are my go-to uniform this time of the year, and I love incorporating shades of crimson and turquoise in with the warm neutrals of autumn. I’ve brought quite a few of these elements into the outfit for today’s post!
