While a bright red, white, and blue color palette has never been quite my style, 2020 left me feeling less boldly patriotic than ever. this 4th of July I’m sharing my thoughts on 2020, being a US citizen, and my new Ashton Top (made for celebrating the 4th of July) on the blog today.
So I’ve been a little behind on showing you what I’ve been making, but I HAVE been making! And honestly, I’ve really been in my element with my me-made items lately – I am very much a summertime girl, and if you’ve been following me for any length of time you’re probably aware that flirty, feminine silhouettes and bright colors and bold florals are some of my favorite things. This dress (and many of the things I’ve made recently) has ALL of that!!
I’ve been teasing a new Ice Cream Dress over on Instagram since National Ice Cream Day on Sunday…. And it is finally here, ready to share. No questions asked, it is even sweeter than the original. Which do you like better?

The Chelsea Party Dress has been on my list for well over a year, and now that I’ve finally made one, it is LOVE.
