When Super Bison Patterns reached out to me to try out their patterns, I was very excited. I was in the middle of thinking up great ideas for Mama / Mini Matching dresses for my tiny girl’s 2nd Birthday Celebration, and I’d already picked out some beautiful fabric but I hadn’t landed on the perfect patterns just yet. So when I started looking into the patterns by Super Bison, and landed on the Dune and Mini Dune dresses, it was all sorted. Check out my thoughts on the pattern and fabrics I used to make our dresses!

The OU / Texas football game is a tradition in our house. Every year, we lug out the generator and multiple tents and grills and a giant television and set up a gigantic tailgate in the Dallas Fairgrounds parking lot where we watch the game with 40 of our closest friends mingling in and out through the day. We plan for weeks, our best friends split the shopping and prep duties, and we meet up way too early in the morning with coffee and breakfast burritos in hand to set up a ridiculously elaborate tailgate and spend gameday together. At halftime, we leave a group behind to maintain the tailgate, and we head into the fair for car shows, corny dogs, and fried anything-you-can-think-of… Rain or shine, win or lose, it’s one of my favorite days of the year. Thanks to the dumpster fire that is 2020, though, we’ll be watching OU / Texas from home for the first time since my early years of college. It’s a bummer, but we’ll be looking extra cute in our me-made gameday gear!
Big news – I’ve joined the Raspberry Creek Fabrics Promo Team for 2020! I’ve admired Raspberry Creek Fabrics for so long, and I’m so excited to join their blogger team and enjoy their fabrics this year! My first chance to sew with them was the Fall 2020 Fabric Drop – and I went IN.
I’ve been teasing a new Ice Cream Dress over on Instagram since National Ice Cream Day on Sunday…. And it is finally here, ready to share. No questions asked, it is even sweeter than the original. Which do you like better?
