Staying active throughout pregnancy is a challenge, in part due to the lack of comfy maternity clothes, and in part due to the crazy fatigue and increased size of my body!! Enter the Peg Legs. I’d had my eye on this leggings pattern by Patterns for Pirates for quite awhile, but had just never followed through on downloading it. My newfound need for maternity-appropriate leggings finally made me bite the bullet! Not only is this an awesome pattern in general, but it is completely FREE. There are two add-on packs available for the pattern, one with some fun details like color-blocked pockets (which, admittedly, I haven’t even opened yet) and another with maternity waistband options! Both of these add-on packs are free, as well! I have made three pairs now, and I couldn’t love them more – check them out today!

I can’t believe this is now my fourth post of 2018 with the IndieSew Blogger Team! IndieSew has long been one of my favorite fabric and pattern sources, and it has been such a pleasure to be blogging with them over the past year. To close out this year’s IBT posts, I’ve got a super cute, super comfortable leggings and sweater combo – perfect to see me through the end of pregnancy, and some chillier weather on the other side!
It’s time for some serious football here in Dallas!! When OU and UT meet up for football every October, it’s a pretty big deal in my group of people. Despite living in Texas, my husband and I bleed crimson and cream, and I needed to make sure I had something to wear to this year’s gameday that would fit over this giant 36-week bump, and clearly let everyone know which side I’m on! See what I came up with on the blog this morning!
Happy September Reveal Day!! I don’t know why, but when I printed off this .pdf pattern it seemed ridiculously daunting to me. I’m not sure if it was the fact that the first page housed two tiny pattern pieces amongst other important information, or the number of pages, but when I printed it I immediately started brainstorming ways to avoid moving forward with this pattern – which is so silly, because I have truly waited ALL year to make this dress! The final result of my Fringe Dress is up on the blog today!
