My alternative to the classic white button-up

I am so excited about this top. I love to see a classic white button-up, but I’ve always felt like I was dressing up in someone else’s clothes when I try to wear one. Whether pairing it with cute trousers for work or denim shorts for a preppy look, I feel like it feels off-base from my usual style and out of place on me. This bone colored linen perfectly suits the Coastal Grandmother trend that we are all loving this year, and for me, pants were the way to go. I don’t know why, but anytime I have the opportunity to work with a light, neutral colored linen, you’d be wise to bet your money on me turning it into a pair of wide legged pants of some sort. While I’ve never lived on a coast, nor have I ever been a grandmother, I have been adamant that my wardrobe requires at least 2 pairs of white, beige, or bone colored linen pants at all times.
