Fibre Mood Magazine Issue 12 launches today, and I’m so excited to have been included in an amazing group of sewists who got to try out a pattern from the magazine ahead of time to help promote and show you what you can look forward to in this issue. As I’ve grown to expect with Fibre Mood patterns, this skirt pattern is lovely, was easily constructed, and although a circle skirt is nothing new or groundbreaking, this one has a couple nice little details that I loved.

It’s “Nothing But Bottoms” over at the Ellie & Mac Patterns headquarters this week, and I’m excited to share one of my favorite Ellie & Mac patterns for your lower half! The paperbag waist trend first caught my eye last year, and I made a super cute pair of paperbag waist shorts last Spring. This year, I decided to try out the same detail in a skirt!
