Ultimate Floral Trousers

At the start of 2019, pants were still a super daunting sewing endeavor in my mind. It just seemed like so much more work to fit flat fabric to the curves of my hips, waist and bum than it did to sew a dress or top that could flow over my shape. However, I really pushed out of my comfort zone and sewed quite a few pairs of pants last year! These are my fanciest pants of 2019, which I love even more now than when I first made them. Wacky Wednesday – Everyday Tee

It’s my first blog post of 2020! I’m starting the year off comfortable, sharing a simple tee with some elevated details, sewn up in possibly the best fabric I’ve ever purchased. Even better – it’s a Wacky Wednesday post, which means if you like this tee, you can nab the pattern today for just $1! The photos in this post were taken on my sister-in-law’s family olive orchard in Spain, and I’m excited to share the first of my photos from our trip to Spain on the blog, as well!

Whether you are reading this today or sometime after, I hope you all enjoy a fantastic and peaceful day with those you love!

Snow Leopard Roscoe Blouse

When I first saw the Roscoe Blouse, I didn’t think I needed it in my wardrobe. It was super cute, but quite honestly when I first started sewing all I wanted to do was make pretty party dresses! The Roscoe got forgotten until recently, when I realized that it holds quite a few similarities to the most well-loved (and overused) top in my wardrobe. I finally purchased the pattern recently, and I am SO glad that I did. (PS – the pattern was just recently re-released in a more inclusive size range! If you don’t have it yet, read on and see why I think you should definitely grab it! I’ve linked the pattern at the bottom!)
